Why is Steam Complex closing?
The owners of our current premises have decided not to renew our lease. The decision was outside our control and was communicated to us recently. We shared the news with our community as soon as we were able.

Is Steam Complex closing for good?
No. The current building is closing. Steam Complex will be relocating to new premises in Leeds. Members and subscribers will be the first to know when the location and reopening date are confirmed.
When is the last day?
Our final trading day is Sunday 9 August 2026. We remain open every day from 11:00am–7:00pm right up to then.
Can I still buy a membership?
Membership sales have ended. Everyone remains welcome as a walk-in guest at standard entry until our final day.
What about passes and offers?
Free Sunday and multi-day passes remain available as normal until we close. Passes are valid for use up to and including Sunday 9 August 2026.
What happens to this website?
This website stays online and will publish confirmed relocation details, including the new address and reopening date.
