Why is Steam Complex closing?

The owners of our current premises have decided not to renew our lease. The decision was outside our control and was communicated to us recently — we wanted to share the news with you as soon as we were able. We’re working to secure new premises in Leeds. Members and subscribers will be the first to know when details are confirmed.

What happens to the Steam website?

Since 2007, Steam Complex has provided a safe, discreet and welcoming space for the gay sauna community in Leeds and beyond. That doesn't stop because a building does. While we search for a new home, we'll keep the Steam website, guides and articles online and keep our community informed when facts are confirmed. Thank you for 19+ amazing years. We are committed to finding Steam Complex a new home in Leeds. Stay with us.
